The Nigeria Tennis Federation is asking the Association of Tennis Professionals to consider holding tournaments in Africa.N-T-F head Ifedayo Akindoju says the conditions within the continent are suitable for the A-T-P to hold championships in Nigeria. Akindoju spoke during the Abuja Open final on Sunday. Brazilian Joao Menezes produced a stunning performance to win the 2018 final at Abuja National Stadium. Menezes trounced Arjun Kadhe of India 6-3, 6-1 in the final. The Brazilian walked away with 25,000 US dollars. No local player made it past the second of the tournament
