Malaria is the biggest killer in Tanzania, and local scientists believe they are making progress in controlling the spread of the mosquito-borne disease. Supported by the London School of Tropical Medicine, researchers have developed long-lasting treated nets to counter the insecticide-resistant mosquitoes.
