4th batch of Chinese UN Peacekeepers leave S. Sudan

Teachers and students of Nakitun primary school have held a farewell ceremony for the fourth batch of the Chinese peacekeeping infantry battalion in South Sudan.

They performed for the peacekeepers in appreciation of their efforts and to mark their last day at the school. Due to the perennial war, there were no school buildings in the village.

However, at the beginning of this year, the peacekeepers together with UNICEF built schools in the area.
